Hike for Gidget with Ambassador Chelsea Pottenger

Help Gidget Foundation Australia support expectant and new parents.

This Perinatal Mental Health Week, Chelsea and EQ Minds will be hiking to raise funds for Gidget Foundation Australia and we would love for you to join us!

Grab a group of friends and wear a splash of red on the 13th of November to Hike for Gidget in your local area.

Red was Gidget’s favourite colour, and it was 20 years ago that Gidget Foundation Australia was formed after Gidget tragically took her own life while experiencing unrecognised postnatal depression.

The difference we can make?  Only $1,500 can cover a family’s complete care, utilising Gidget Foundation Australia’s specialist perinatal team, for a whole year.

We want to raise the funds to cover the complete care for 10 families this year.

Register and start fundraising today!

Chelsea's Story

Having experienced severe postnatal depression following the birth of her daughter six years ago, Gidget Foundation Australia’s cause is very close to Chelsea’s heart.

In her journey to recovery, she re-trained and adopted a new way of living, integrating a new set of tools into her life to manage and optimise her mental health. It is her mission to get people to prioritise their mental health, and to ensure people struggling have access to the services they need.
