My target 100 kms
I’m stepping up this March to support …
The 100,000 Australian parents impacted by perinatal depression and anxiety every year. That’s 1 in 5 mums and 1 in 10 dads — and far too many suffer in silence.
This is something I haven’t really shared outside of my close circle, but it feels important to be honest — especially for a cause that means so much to me.
In March, I’ll be walking 100km to raise money for the Gidget Foundation, supporting mums experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety.
After the birth of Ollie, I went through a period of pretty intense postpartum anxiety. It was something I didn’t fully expect, and at times it felt really overwhelming. I was incredibly lucky to have a small, supportive group of people around me who helped me through the hard days. I honestly don’t know where I’d be without that support.
Not everyone has that, and that’s why this fundraiser feels so personal to me.
The Gidget Foundation provides vital support, counselling, and resources to parents who are struggling during what is “supposed” to be one of the happiest times in their lives. The reality is that for so many, it can also be one of the most vulnerable.
So throughout March, I’ll be walking 100km — with a pram, on tired legs, between feeds and naps — to raise awareness and funds for families who need that extra support.
If you’re able to donate, share, or even just cheer me on, it would mean so much 🤍

Good luck Boo and enjoy!
