Could you move 100km in March?
Change the lives of families like Sally & Ben
When Sally was 26 weeks pregnant, her husband Ben became critically ill with Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism. After their son Ollie was born, Sally found herself caring for a newborn while also supporting a partner struggling with PTSD and anxiety.
The emotional and physical toll soon became overwhelming. By the time Ollie was three months old, Sally had developed severe postnatal depression and anxiety, which led to multiple hospital stays.
During this incredibly difficult time, support from Gidget Foundation Australia became a turning point. With specialist care and therapy, Sally started her journey toward recovery. Crucially, when their second son, Beau, was born, the family had the help they needed from the beginning.
By stepping up for parents this March, you’re helping parents like Sally and Ben find the support to face perinatal mental illness.
