Online fundraising page questions
What is my fundraising page?
When you register to fundraise for Gidget Foundation Australia, you will automatically be set up with an online fundraising page. Here you can personalise your page - add your story, upload photos, set a fundraising goal and tell others why you are fundraising for Gidget Foundation Australia.
On this page you can also see how much you have raised and who supported you.
How do I edit my fundraising page?
Edit your fundraising page by logging onto your fundraiser's dashboard with the email address you used to register your event.
From your dashboard, you can change the details of your event, modify your fundraising goal, upload new photos and more. You can also send emails directly from the page to ask for support, add offline donations or thank your donors for their contributions.
Can I log my kilometres for my Get Active fundraiser?
Yes, you can log your kilometres in two ways:
- Log your kilometres automatically: Link your fundraising page to a fitness tracker or app such as Fitbit, Strava or MapMyFitness. After creating an account with your preferred app, log in to your fundraiser’s dashboard and click on the 'My Fitness Activity' tab to connect your fitness app. Please allow 24 hours for your activity to show up on your fundraising page.
- Log your kilometres manually: Log in to your online fundraiser’s dashboard and click on the 'My Fitness Activity' tab to record your efforts.
Fundraising questions
How do I promote my fundraiser?
The easiest way to promote your fundraiser is to share the URL of your fundraising page with your family, friends, and colleagues. You can email them directly from your fundraiser’s dashboard by clicking the 'Get Support' tab or via text or social media.
Also, consider setting up a Facebook Fundraiser from your fundraiser’s dashboard to reach your extended network and get even more people behind your cause.
How do supporters donate to my fundraiser?
Donations can be made online via your fundraising page. Alternatively, you can collect cash donations and record these on your fundraiser's dashboard via the 'My Donations' tab.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes, all donations over $2 are tax-deductible; every donor will automatically receive a tax receipt. Donations are not tax deductible if the sponsor receives goods or services in return for their donation.
Does Gidget Foundation Australia provide T-shirts?
All fundraisers who complete a 'Get Active for Us' campaign and raise over $100 will receive a Gidget Foundation Australia t-shirt or singlet. Simply let us know your size, and we'll mail it to you.
Can I purchase Gidget Foundation Australia merchandise?
Yes, you can purchase branded merchandise through the Gidget Foundation Australia online shop.
Can I use the Gidget Foundation Australia logo?
The Gidget Foundation Australia logo must never be reproduced or copied without our permission. Please use our templated materials downloadable from our Community Fundraising Hub. If you require specific promotional materials, feel free to us know by emailing fundraising@gidgetfoundation.org.au.

I've forgotten the address of my online fundraising page.
You can find the address of your fundraising page in your registration confirmation email. Alternatively, search for it on our 'Fundraise for Us' webpage. Simply click on your event type and enter your name in the ‘Search for a fundraiser' field.
I've forgotten my username and password.
If you've forgotten your password, click on the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page to request a new one. If you still experience issues after this step, let us know by emailing fundraising@gidgetfoundation.org.au.
