Through my work in the perinatal space...

I’ve heard stories from parents experiencing perinatal depression and anxiety that felt heartbreakingly familiar. The overwhelm, the silence, the fear of asking for help, the isolation. I’m not yet a parent myself, but I have lived with anxiety for years, and know how deeply it can affect your thoughts, your confidence, and your sense of safety.

Mental health support should feel accessible, relevant, and empowering.

So, this March, I’ve set myself the challenge to move 100km - a mix of walking, cycling, and swimming - for the 100,000 parents diagnosed with PNDA each year in Australia. I’m doing it to not only help raise vital funds, but to help break down the stigma surrounding mental health and asking for help.

Your donation to Gidget Foundation Australia helps parents access vital mental health support online, in person, or via tele-health, and it supports Gidget’s work to educate and train health professionals so they can provide the specialist care families need.

Every kilometre I move is for them.

Every dollar you donate brings support closer to those who need it most.
